My son had no offers late in his senior year. His AAU coach recommended Parents of Athletes.  Parents of Athletes made a phone call on our behalf to a D1 college they thought would be a match. The next day we got a call from the coach at that school. Two months later we had a scholarship to the perfect D1 school for us. POA made the effort to help us reach our dreams. They cared about us and they understand what matters.

My son was being seriously recruited at the Division 3 level and we had narrowed our list to a few excellent schools. One of them invited him to their elite camp held on their campus. The price was $300 (not including travel) for a 1 1/2 day camp. We felt pressure to attend. We were afraid if we didn’t the school would interpret that as lack of interest on our part and stop recruiting him. Parents of Athletes explained the situation and relieved all the pressure. They’ve been through it before so they know how it works. We were able have a simple, easy conversation with the coach at the University. We did not attend the camp, they still recruited my son and I saved over $300 plus a weekend of travel.

Parents of Athletes was recommended to me by someone who has worked with them for over 20 years. The guidance and counseling I received from them was invaluable in helping with my decisions and D1 recruitment process. Even now, as a D1 athlete, I continue to rely on them for support and insight on how to manage sports and school at the highest level. This has truly been a long-lasting relationship.

I was diligently saving money to pay for AAU and other similar expenses. Parents of Athletes showed me where to spend my money and where not to. I saved over $1,000 and my son and I still reached our goals.

We spent $1,200 on a recruiting service. After listening to Parents of Athletes, I know we could have saved the money and still gotten what we wanted. We just didn’t know any better.

We didn’t know a sport could get our child into a great academic school she otherwise wouldn’t have been admitted to, and get us a lot more financial aid at the same time. Parents of Athletes explained how it all works. We wish we had known this when she was younger. It would have relieved a good deal of the pressure we’d been feeling for years.
